Shakib Khan Quotes (1979-)

(trans. "Shakib is a very good boy. I have heard of Shakib before but never talked to him. We first meet during Shikari filming. [He is] so good boy, [his] behaved so well and he is the biggest superstar of Bangladesh. But I am very fascinated by his behaviour with us. So I have become a big fan of him.")”

(trans. "Mr. Aziz Reza gave me find out of Shakib. At first he gave me still pictures. He was very much requesting to chance Shakib. I wanted to see the boy face to face in his requests. Mr. Aziz brought him to our office. We liked him at first sight. Shakib deserved to be a hero. I give chance him to the movies because I saw something like that in him. Someone may have requested to take him or I gave him the opportunity. But the fact is that he was worthy.")”

(trans. "A hero must have five qualities. Sense of acting, handsome, knowing dance, knowing fight, being fashion conscious - Shakib has all the qualities. So to me he is a perfect hero.")”

“"Shakib Bhai to me is the most handsome Bengali hero after Uttam Kumar. Once I told Shakib Bhai in a hospital that his natural look is his best look. You can fight Marlon Brando, Montgomery Clift and Uttam Kumar with this look."”

(trans.. "Shakib's roots are very deep. I don't know exactly when Shakib's alternative will come in Bangladeshi commercial cinema. He is the blessing for cinema of this country. Everyone must admit this truth. There is no room to screw up here."”
