Michelle Visage Quotes (1968-)

“One day when my kids are out and we’re retired I want to go to the country and have all sorts of rescue animals. The ones that nobody wants. The ones with three legs and missing an eyeball. The ones that are too old that people don’t want to adopt them.”

“I'll say, ‘Hi, I'm Michelle Visage and I'm a drag queen' and that usually opens the door to the conversation. This is how I get my reputation. If you look on Google it'll say Michelle Visage is a man, the list goes on and on, but I am 100 per cent biological female, but RuPaul says it best when he says you're born naked and everything else is drag.”

“I’m a gluten-free, soy-free vegan who also tries to be sugar-free as much as possible, so it can be crazy on the road trying to find things to eat. Once we were in Madison, Wisconsin and I was trying to explain what veganism was at a restaurant, and they went, “So can you eat roast beef?” […] When I was doing Celebrity Big Brother and Perez Hilton told me that I wasn’t the spokesperson for gay people, I said… well wait a second, I’m not a dog, does that mean I can’t fight and speak up for animal rights?”
